[How many 118ml bottles do I need for my hair?]
- Short to bob-length hair: 1 - 2 bottles, depending on thickness
- Shoulder to waist-length hair: 2 - 3 bottles, depending on thickness. For thick hair, an additional tube may be required for the ends.
- Waist-length and longer hair: 3+ bottles, depending on thickness

Instructions: How to dye your hair with Manic Panic
1. Bleach your hair (We recommend Manic Panic Hair Bleach, item no. 256279). Follow the instructions on the package. If you use a different bleaching product, please do NOT use the included conditioner or any other accompanying post-bleach care product!
2. Rinse your hair with clean water.
3. Apply the hair colour. Use a comb or a specific hair dye brush for even application, massage it in with your fingers, and leave it to develop for 15 to 60 minutes.
4. Rinse your hair thoroughly until the water runs clear. Finish rinsing with cold water and it's best to follow with a conditioner or another nourishing product.

General Information about our hair colours:
Please bear in mind that the quality, colour, etc., of the final result ALWAYS depends on how your hair looked before dyeing. We recommend always doing a strand test before dyeing to ensure you achieve your desired hair colour!
Our hair colours typically do not cause allergies, BUT if you are unsure whether you are sensitive to the product, apply a small amount to your skin, e.g., in the crook of your arm (remember that the colour may stain, so it’s best to test in an inconspicuous area). Wait a few days and check for any changes in your skin. If yes, you may be quite sensitive to the product and should refrain from dyeing your hair.
For an intense result that looks like our test examples, you should always bleach your hair before dyeing. Light shades like white or pastel colours are only possible on bleached hair.
Our white colours are actually very light violet shades that remove the yellow undertones from your hair, so don’t panic if it looks bright purple right after application – it usually fades after the first wash.
The lighter your hair is, the more similar the colour will be to our test examples. None of our colours damage hair, as they contain no ammonia. Different pigments may wash out or bleach at varying difficulty.
If you dye very blonde hair in a red shade, it will result in a colour that does not fade out after 6 to 8 weeks but gradually becomes lighter and goes through various shades that may be either orange or pink, depending on the base colour of the red. In other words, red pigments do not wash out very easily, whereas blue ones usually do.
Our colour samples are all based on synthetic hair and may therefore appear differently when applied to real hair – colours may also look different on various computer screens. Many red shades may look different on different hair types, depending on how long the product was left on the hair, etc.
Please remember that our hair colours may leave light stains on skin, clothing, towels, and in the bathroom, so please protect EVERYTHING you don’t want to be dyed (including your skin)! This applies even to wet hair, even if it is not freshly dyed!
