Originally released in 1986, "Twitch" moves a few steps away from the tune of the pop-influenced debut towards a darker, more aggressive sound which one may classify as EBM.
For this album the singer and front man Jourgensen was granted the artistic direction in the production process, leading to him performing solo most of the time.
