by Oliver Kube (19.09.2007) So there it is, finally: the solo debut of the Guano Apes-front lady. The stormingly rocking "Name of my baby" and the dirty "Old shack" could have easily come from her ex-band, too. But already with "Fever", Nasic enters clearly more poppy fields. Following are the driving forward Electro-Rocker, "Sorry", as well as "Mecasanova", an Alternative hitter that is very danceable and run through by Industrial-elements. At the latest after the beautiful power ballad, emotionally lead by acoustic guitars, and the "Titellied", strongly influenced by Synth-Pop, it is clear that the songstress doesn’t want to be pigeonholed. Why should she? Vocally, she has enormously improved, can be referred to as one of the most variable rock voices in Germany and is able to interpret nearly everything. This album is proof of that. The limited edition in digipack contains the bonus track, "Ireen", as well as video-clips for "Fever" and "Name of my baby".
