by Marcel Anders (10.04.2008) The title sounds like US military going for a war still believing that they are able to solve the Iraq conflict with high-tech weapons and thousands of soldiers. Disturbed around singer, David Draiman do not believe in that β even if the title track and the following "Inside the fire" suspiciously sound like approval. Especially with lines, like "Every broken enemy will know: Iβm indestructible β master of war." Yet, and you have to bear that in mind, Draiman only play roles, represent either the cool killer, the mad war leader, the wounded soldier or the devil himself, puts everything in question and evokes an oppressive picture of our time. Supported by the rhythm section around Dan Donegan (guitar, keyboards), Mike Wengren (drums) and John Moyer (bass) with a Metallic Gloom sound that appears much heavier and rougher than on the three predecessors, and in "Divide" and "Facade" in fact turn out ot be fast, anthemnic Metal.
