The Deathcore sextet known for their triple axe attack won't take no prisoners this time either, although their songs now sound more mature and varied than before. Innovative Deathcore.

by Jürgen Tschamler (13.04.2010) At this time, we don't have the final version of the new album, even the songs have but working titles which perhaps will be changed on the final version... But anyway, the music is the heart of the matter - the song titles are not that important. The Deathcore six with the triple axe attack have the same motto as on their last output: no prisoners. But this time, I have to admit that some of the songs are a bit more structured than their older stuff. For example "Doombringer" - an interesting track hovering between blast beats, high-speed riffs and neck-wrecking parts. Phil Bozeman's vocals are sick, but bearable. "Dissonantnancystevehut" is a brute epitome of the Whitechapel credo: pure Deathcore. "Darkest days of Steve" is cool and groovy, with some old-school Thrash sounds, leaving the excessive Deathcore smashers far behind - Phil sounds as if his vocal chords are studded with glass shards on this one. This opus is remarkably more mature and more multi-faceted than their last one - Whitechapel are a valuable asset for the Deathcore scene.
